We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team at J6 Swim, Castleknock. The ideal candidate must have the following qualifications:
- Swimming Teaching Qualification (Level 1 or 2)
- RLSS/IWS Lifeguard Qualification (desirable but not a requirement)
- Child Protection – Safeguarding 1
We are looking for a Part-Time (20 hrs) Swimming Teacher and Pool Attendant to join our team. The role involves up to 12 hours of teaching our Learn to Swim programme and 8 hours for reception/general pool duties. Days worked will be Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday with flexibility to provide cover on Saturdays if required. You will be primarily based in our pool in Castleknock with some teaching hours in our pool in Rathfarnham.
Our popular Learn To Swim programme teaches age 4 and up ranging from beginners to improvers. We teach using fun activities, building confidence to help them learn to love the water and develop into competent, happy swimmers.
Classes typically operate between 3 and 6.30/7pm. Starting annual salary - €20k.
The ideal candidate should enjoy working with kids and have a passion and enthusiasm for all things swimming.
